QIDI Plus5 Combo: large-format multi-color 3D printing without compromise

QIDI Plus5 Combo combines the powerful enclosed QIDI Plus5 CoreXY printer with the QIDI BOX system for automatically working with up to four filaments. This gives you a complete solution for fast multi-color and multi-material printing, active filament drying, and producing large functional parts.

Thanks to its build volume of 320 × 320 × 300 mm, you can produce large models in one piece or efficiently print entire series of smaller components. The rigid CoreXY construction, wide 9mm 1.5GT belts, and X-axis linear guide help maintain precise movement even at high speeds.

Four-color printing and intelligent filament management

The Combo variant includes the QIDI BOX with four spool positions. The system automatically switches between filaments, enables multi-color and multi-material printing, and monitors material status. When using compatible QIDI filaments, it can identify their parameters via NFC.

The QIDI BOX also offers active drying up to 65 °C, enclosed storage, and temperature and humidity monitoring. Filament can also be dried during printing, which helps maintain stable feeding and a high-quality model surface when using hygroscopic materials. When a spool runs out, the system can automatically continue from a replacement spool of the same material.

One QIDI BOX allows you to work with 4 filaments. By adding further units and the necessary expansion accessories, the system can be expanded to support up to 16 colors.

Actively heated chamber for technical materials

The enclosed build chamber is equipped with independent active heating up to 65 °C. A stable temperature helps reduce warping, layer cracking, and detachment of large prints. QIDI Plus5 is therefore suitable not only for PLA and PETG, but also for ABS, ASA, PA, PC, and composites reinforced with carbon or glass fibers.

The hotend reaches temperatures of up to 370 °C, and the direct-drive extruder uses hardened steel gears. The bimetal nozzle is factory-fitted with a 0.4 mm diameter; 0.2, 0.6, and 0.8 mm diameters can also be used optionally.

High speed and precise CoreXY kinematics

The print head can move at speeds of up to 600 mm/s, and maximum acceleration reaches 20 000 mm/s². The CoreXY system with precise linear guidance, wide belts, and Input Shaping function reduces vibrations and enables fast printing while maintaining clean edges and details.

A pair of independent motors with Z-axis lead screws ensures stable guidance of the build platform. The aluminum heated bed reaches up to 120 °C and is complemented by a flexible double-sided magnetic PEI plate.

Automatic calibration without manual adjustment

A load sensor integrated into the hotend enables fully automatic build plate leveling. The printer also offers filament runout detection, print recovery after a power outage, and automatic functions that simplify the preparation of every project.

The four-inch color touchscreen provides clear control directly on the printer. Connectivity is available via dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB.

Integrated camera and print monitoring

The built-in camera with a resolution of up to 1080p enables remote monitoring of the printing process, time-lapse recording, and supports intelligent detection during printing. RGB status indication makes it easy to check the device's operating status.

Three-stage air filtration

The enclosed construction is equipped with a three-stage filtration system consisting of a G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA filter, and activated carbon made from coconut shells. The filtration captures fine particles and helps reduce odors generated when processing technical filaments.
