QIDI Plus4 Combo is a complete solution for users who want to combine fast FDM printing, a large working area, and automated multi-filament operation. The set includes the enclosed QIDI Plus4 3D printer and the compatible QIDI Box system for feeding, switching, storing, and actively drying up to four spools.

Thanks to its CoreXY design, maximum print head movement speed of 600 mm/s, and acceleration of up to 20 000 mm/s², the printer can efficiently produce large prototypes, functional parts, and entire series of smaller components.

QIDI Box for automatic multi-material printing

The Combo set includes a QIDI Box with four independent slots. The system automatically feeds and changes filament according to the prepared print project, making it possible to create multicolor models, combine compatible materials, or use soluble supports.

Each channel uses its own stepper motor and feeding mechanism with a pair of hardened steel gears. One QIDI Box handles up to four spools. With expansion kits, up to four boxes can be connected to the printer, allowing operation with up to 16 filaments.

Active filament drying up to 65 °C

QIDI Box also functions as an enclosed storage container and active dryer. It can dry filaments at temperatures of up to 65 °C, even during printing. Integrated temperature and humidity monitoring helps keep the material in optimal condition, which is especially important for PA, PC, PETG, PPS, and composite filaments.

The box also supports automatic identification of compatible QIDI filaments via NFC. Temperature and humidity data can be monitored directly in QIDI Studio.

Actively heated print chamber

The printer's enclosed working area is equipped with active PTC chamber heating up to 65 °C and air circulation. A stable temperature reduces warping, layer cracking, and corner lifting when printing materials with higher shrinkage.

QIDI Plus4 is therefore suitable not only for PLA and PETG, but also for more demanding materials such as ABS, ASA, PA, PC, PPS, and polymers reinforced with carbon or glass fibers.

Hotend up to 370 °C

The powerful 80W hotend reaches temperatures of up to 370 °C. A direct-drive extruder with hardened steel gears and a bimetal nozzle ensure reliable feeding of standard and abrasive filaments. The default configuration includes a nozzle with a diameter of 0,4 mm; optional diameters of 0,2, 0,6, or 0,8 mm can also be used.

Large build volume of 305 × 305 × 280 mm

The 305 × 305 × 280 mm build volume provides ample space for large functional parts, covers, fixtures, prototypes, and small-batch production. The robust 6mm aluminum heated bed reaches temperatures of up to 120 °C and is complemented by a double-sided textured PEI build plate.

Two independently driven Z-axis lead screws help keep the build surface stable and precisely leveled, even when producing large models.

Automatic calibration and filament monitoring

The printer automatically levels the build surface without the need for manual adjustment. It also features Input Shaping, power-loss recovery, and sensors that detect running-out or tangled filament.

Camera and network connectivity

The integrated camera with a resolution of up to 1080p allows you to monitor the production process and record time-lapse videos. Print data can be transferred via 2,4GHz Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB. Operation is made easier by the five-inch color touchscreen and internal 32GB eMMC storage.
