Original bimetal hotend for the QIDI Q2 3D printer. The assembly uses an integrated all‑metal design (nozzle + heatbreak), a new cooling unit, and a ceramic throat for a lower risk of clogging during frequent printing of engineering materials. The bimetal nozzle with a hardened steel tip ensures high resistance to abrasive filaments and precise orifice geometry even after long-term use.

  • Maximum operating temperature of the hotend up to 370 °C – room for a wide range of materials from PLA to demanding composites.
  • Quick swap: the integrated nozzle and heatbreak design makes servicing easier and reduces downtime.

Installation and maintenance

  1. Turn off the printer and let the hotend cool down.

  4. For composites, use the recommended temperatures and dry the filament; clean the nozzle regularly.
