Product description

QIDI Max4 bimetal hot end

Original replacement bimetal hotend for the QIDI Max4 3D printer, designed for high speed, high temperatures, and maximum reliability during long-term professional operation.

The hotend utilizes a ceramic ring heating element and a bimetal nozzle with excellent heat transfer and abrasion resistance. Together they enable printing up to 370 °C and a high flow rate of up to 40 mm³/s (in combination with the QIDI Max4 direct extruder), which is ideal for large-format and serial printing.

Key features

  • Original part for QIDI Max4 The hotend is directly intended for the QIDI Max4 3D printer – full compatibility with the head mount, wiring, and sensors.
  • Bimetal nozzle for abrasive materials The nozzle with bimetal construction (combination of materials for optimal conductivity and hardness) is suitable for filled filaments such as PLA‑CF, PETG‑CF, ABS‑GF, PA‑CF and other technical materials.
  • High-temperature construction – up to 370 °C The hotend is rated for a maximum nozzle temperature of 370 °C, so it easily handles highly technical polymers and composites according to QIDI Max4 printer specifications.
  • High flow rate up to 40 mm³/s In combination with direct feeding and the printer's CoreXY kinematics, the hotend enables fast printing of large models without sacrificing surface quality or printing stability.
  • Ceramic ring heating The ceramic heating element ensures fast temperature ramp-up and uniform heating of the hotend blocks, reducing the risk of temperature fluctuations and improving repeatability of results.
  • Loadcell sensor support The hotend is part of a print head with a loadcell sensor, where the nozzle serves as a precise touch sensor for automatic leveling of the first layer and compensation for unevenness.
  • Optimized for chamber-heated printing The design is intended for work in an actively heated chamber up to 65 °C, typical for the QIDI Max4, enabling stable printing of ABS/ASA and other demanding materials.

Applications

The QIDI Max4 bimetal hotend is ideal for:

  • users who print demanding technical parts from materials such as ABS, ASA, PA, PC, PPA, PET‑CF, PA‑CF, etc.
  • serial and industrial production of functional parts, jigs, and fixtures
  • users who want to maintain factory parameters of the printer after replacing a damaged or worn hotend

User benefits

  • Trouble-free installation – original replacement part designed directly for QIDI Max4
  • Longer life when printing composites thanks to the bimetal nozzle
  • Stable print quality even at high speeds and temperatures
  • Maintenance of factory parameters – power, flow, temperatures, and control are identical to the original printer configuration

Recommendations for use

  • When printing abrasive materials (CF/GF), we recommend regularly checking the nozzle condition and keeping the filament dry.
  • When replacing the hotend, follow the official QIDI service manual and perform the replacement only when the printer is switched off and cooled down.
